Scarves

Hand painted silk might bleed a little when you wash. This is normal. Therefore, hand wash your scarf separately, with mild soap and never use bleach. Roll the scarf in a towel to remove excess water and iron it while damp.

Handbags

We do not recommend washing your handbag. However, if disaster strikes (spilled wine, for example), follow the same instructions regarding washing a scarf. It is very important to iron while still damp; otherwise, the silk will bleed through the interior fabric.

Other items

Don’t wash your other silk accessories. Because the silk is mixed with other materials like metal, wood and paper, those pieces are not washable.
